Preparing our children for learning success
Your support and contributions will enable us to work with parents to improve the kindergarten readiness of our children. Your generous donation will empower student success.
An amazing team of volunteers came together concerned about the kindergarten readiness of African American children in Howard County, Maryland.
Seeing a need for energetic, culturally appropriate work in the area of child development, we formed our nonprofit in February 2019. We've made consistent progress since then, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community!
Bronze Villagers engage and empower the community and parents of young African American children to use sensory stimulation, the Basics, reading and math development, and intellectual enhancement to prepare our children for future learning success
The Bronze Villagers are promoting September as Kindergarten Ready Awareness Month. Our focus is on having parents of young children (birth to 5) think about the educational experience they want for their child. What can they do to prepare their child for school? What can the community do to be sure our schools are ready to give each child the best possible experience. Our Kick Off Event is Saturday, September 9, 2023 at the Harriet Tubman Cultural Center. See the flyer above for more information.
